Someone sent me a question yesterday on my ask box asking how to use Jump Pagination. I took a step further and did a tutorial on how to implement and style them.

After my last text host crashed, I have received a multitude of e-mails regarding the base codes problem. I tried my best to reply to everyone who e-mailed me asking for the codes. I now have my own domain and host, and all the base codes have been uploaded there. They are now up for download again.

Also, this blog now redirects to tutorials.moniquetendencia.com. Expect a few more tutorials soon. I have been slacking off with the whole website managing thing, and have been busy with art majors in school.

Lastly, new theme for this blog! No more CMYK madness.

It’s just a simple centered two-column, left sidebar layout, it’s a start. I do have backups of the old base codes, but I’m redoing everything so they’re easier to understand when you download and tweak them. I have added two new base codes for your Tumblr themes. You can check the base codes page, it’s under the three columns category. Basically, it has a sidebar and your posts are sorted in two columns :-)

So I won’t be online as much as I did during the summer. This also means I can’t get to your requests as fast as before. I’ve always prioritized school over other commitments, but I will try to find time to answer your questions and continue providing you with tutorials and other web stuff that could help you learn.

The first page is a roundup on how to add box shadows and text shadows on your page. I suggest you try it out, it’s really fun! But don’t overuse it :-D And the other page contains base codes for Tumblr layouts. I didn’t style the posts, I just made the basic structure for the the layout, I do hope you give them a try and see if it helps you together with my tutorials on text styling and Tumblr themes.

NEW PAGE: Rounded corners

I’ve seen quite a number of layouts that use rounded corners but it’s image-based. They do look okay but it’s a big hassle to change the size of the corners if it doesn’t suit your layout. You have to remake the image and upload it again until you find the perfect look. So here’s a tutorial to help you make your own boxes with rounded corners using only CSS. It saves you time and it’s also useful if you don’t know how to use Photoshop.

I would just like to leave a reminder regarding theme requests.

F.A.Q. #1: Can you make me a theme? Yes.

You don’t really need to ask because I’ll definitely make you one! :-D And it would really be easier for me if you include details of how you want your layout to look. Please include the following information:

Colors
# of columns (1, 2, or 3)
Fixed or fluid
..and maybe the font too

It would seriously make my job a whole lot easier. And the more detailed your request is, the faster I can get it done. If you have questions, suggestions (for new layouts), and requests, you can send them by e-mail. Link on my sidebar! :-D

So this is my little artsy place in the internet or Tumblr. I don’t really know what I’m going to do with this blog, I just wanted a cute layout :-)) Anyway, I might post some of my art here, or not. I really don’t know. This blog is another one in my collection of blogs that I really don’t know why I started. Maybe I’ll just update you as I add more pages. I think I’m going to post a bunch of resources here. Designer resources and the like. If I find something nice that isn’t mine, I’ll link it :-D

Wallpapers, banners, icons, and the like. Just the usual graphics that I do. This can also serve as my portfolio :-) Although it looks a bit messy to be considered one. I’m just blabbing here and trying to make my post as long as it can possibly get. Because I want the little up and down arrows at the bottom of this box to work :>

…So I just thought of making an about me page. I’ll work on that tomorrow.
